For more than 25 years, The Bert Insurance Group, Renshaw Insurance, and Best Insurance have been providing clients with life insurance and employee benefit services, as well as multiple lines of property & casualty insurance products.
Within the industry, our experience enables us to access multiple insurers and Third Party Adminstrators (TPAs), allowing us to analyze and develop funding arrangements to deliver cost-effective solutions to our clients.
In December 1994 The Bert Insurance Group acquired the Life Insurance and Benefits Department of Acordia of Western Pennsylvania. Acordia of Western Pennsylvania was established in 1991 as the successor organization of the Erie office of Robinson-Conner Inc., which had served the local community with insurance products and programs for more than 40 years.
Renshaw Insurance wrote its first policy in 1954. Since then, Renshaw Insurance has written thousands of personal and commercial insurance policies for three generations of clients.
The office and staff of Renshaw Insurance merged with The Bert Insurance Group in January 2002. The affiliation has greatly expanded the overall expertise available in all lines of insurance for the clients of both agencies.
In 2000 Renshaw Insurance joined forces with Keystone Insurers Group, the largest insurance organization in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to offer our ever-growing family of customers a greater number of companies with more products from which to choose, and the most competitive rates available. Keystone Insurers Group now has a client base of over 150,000 with annual gross sales approaching a half billion dollars. Keystone is a recognized leader in insurance and financial services.
In July 2004 Best Insurance joined forces with The Bert Insurance Group and Renshaw team, bringing with them superior knowledge of commercial lines.
